For students and developers of India, Sun Microsystems has brought Code JavaFx Contest 2009. The contest is aimed to generate enthusiasm for the JavaFX technology.
According to Sun Microsystems ‘JavaFX combines the best capabilities of the Java platform with comprehensive, immersive media functionality into an intuitive and comprehensive, one-stop development environment’.
Last day for registration is 1st March 2009.
Winners of the Contest get
- First Prize: JavaFX Compatible Sony Ericcson Mobile Phone worth Rs32,000.
- Second Prize: 2 Canon IXUS 800 IS worth Rs 12,500 each.
- Third Prize: 10 iPod Shuffles worth Rs 3,300 each.
All verified, eligible Entrants submitting valid and complete Entries will also get a Certificate of participation and a JavaFX T-Shirt.
